Week 3 - Your BOY Elder Hamm

Image
Howdy y'all. It's your BOY back with another email. Yessir. This week was really good, but it also had it struggles.  If you want to see my photos, here is the link . https://photos.app.goo.gl/ FixzDQJJyBNP5eaB8 This week, we had some great lessons and member meals. I'm finally starting to learn the language  .  There are a ton of cats in Jesup and the surrounding areas. We are teaching some really cool people. I still can't believe how different the West coast is to the south. In Washington religion is not something brought up much and most people don't go to church or haven't in a while and are generally not interested in any message you have to share. Whereas here, religion is something often talked about and is easy to bring up. A lot of people here say they believe it all and know it all and they go to church every Sunday. The sealings went great, I really felt the peace and joy that God has for all of his children while participating in the sealings. By the time we were ready to leave, it was really hot out, 90 degrees hot. Not to mention are conditioning is only on the front and back of the bus. After getting on the bus, we were informed ...

Week 2 (MTC)

Howdy everyone, this week has been a roller coaster of things. I got to know my district really well, and I got to see some leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints this week, so that was really cool. Took some cool photos. if you would like to see them, you can use this link.  https://photos.app.goo. gl/FixzDQJJyBNP5eaB8 I've had some unique experiences this week compared to other missionaries. Usually, missionaries arrive on wednesday and such, but because of the mission presidents getting their training, it's been quite a mess. There came some positives. We've got more and more fast food since last week. However, after the training for the new mission presidents was over on Tuesday. The food in the MTC got way worse. Still fine but man, that fast food was goooood. We had some elders move out from our dorms, which allowed us to have a lot more space than before, so that was really nice. Sleep has been a struggle at times this wee...
